Option 4WD lights up with KC

Products

Baja-born and bred, super-tough, super-bright KC HiLites are now available in New Zealand exclusively through Joel Stirling’s Option 4WD in Auckland.
As a mobile showcase, he has fitted out his latest vehicle with what must be every possible light and switching option available. Spot lights, light bars, ditch lights, side lights, load light – his Ford Ranger Raptor is filled with inspiration for those wanting to upgrade the look and night-time functionality of their vehicle.
The KC brand was forged in the heat and dust of Baja off-road racing and has a 24-year warranty.  The company was passed from father to son; the lights are also passed along in a similar fashion.
“These are lights people will transfer from vehicle to vehicle. They are that good and that reliable.” On-road and off-road, lights and other functions can be managed from the Bluetooth-enabled Trigger 6 Shooter wireless remote controller also available from Option 4WD. The unit is mounted under the bonnet and eliminates the need to run wires under the dash or through the firewall of a vehicle. The controller itself is fitted inside the cab and – handily – is magnetic so it will hold fast to any steel part of the vehicle when in use.
It also adds functionality such as an RF remote control for activating installed accessories from outside the vehicle and dimming/flashing functions for installed lighting. In addition, fused circuits with LED indicators identify blown fuses.
Multiple Trigger control boxes and remotes can be used together to control up to 24 accessories.
Mounting lights and carrying gear? Then go for the vehicle-specific KC M-RACK Roof Rack for 2012-2022 Ford Ranger and Raptor. It has an integrated 50-inch Gravity LED 8-light Pro6 light bar.
The Option 4WD Raptor is now for sale – handy for those who want the ultimate set-up and can’t wait.
In addition to the full range of lights and that stunning roof rack, the vehicle features Option 4WD’s ‘Stinger’ full carbon fibre bonnet; V.2 front winch bar and V.1 rear bar (with 2.5-tonne tow rating), ARB Hardlid, 1500lb Super Winch, two-inch lift kit with Kings Springs, Fuel Covert alloy wheels and 35-inch Kenda Klever tyres.
